Join VOCAL-NY, SAGE USA, and Housing Works on Friday, November 17th at 9 a.m. for a speakout at City Hall Park for increased investments and support needed in NYC for New Yorkers aging with HIV. According to Gilead, by 2030, up to 70% of people with HIV will be over the age of 50. After the speakout, members of our organizations will testify at the NYC Council Oversight Hearing on Older Adults Living with HIV, organized by Council Members Lynn Schulman, Crystal Hudson, and Mercedes Narcisse. We must guarantee that New York City invests in a holistic plan that will cater to the needs of our elders aging with HIV so that they can continue to live long and dignified lives.
