MTA announces 36 more bathrooms to reopen Monday in NYC
The MTA says the bathrooms got a deep clean, a paint job and upgraded with motion activated faucets, new hand dryers and dispensers, new lighting, panels and tile grouting.

7h agoThe Metropolitan Transportation Authority on Monday opened 36 bathrooms across New York City subway stations.
Eighteen subway stations across New York City received brand-new bathrooms, including seven in Brooklyn and one in the Bronx. Each station will get two bathroom - one for men, one for women, and they will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a one-hour clean up break at noon.
The MTA says the bathrooms got a deep clean, a paint job and upgraded with motion activated faucets, new hand dryers and dispensers, new lighting, panels and tile grouting.
This is the latest set of public bathrooms to reopen across the system since the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing a total of stations with available bathrooms to 51.
The new bathrooms will reopen on a rolling basis starting Monday. The complete list of stations can be seen below:
