New York is at a crossroads. We can either double down on the failed status quo that protects landlords above everyone else, or we can embrace a forward-looking vision that prevents displacement and makes sure all New Yorkers have access to a safe, affordable, and decent home, all while strengthening tenant rights and dramatically expanding social housing.

The stakes of this upcoming legislative session could not be higher. Housing will be at the top of the policy agenda in Albany, and we need a robust campaign to ensure the needs of tenants aren’t drowned out by the real estate lobby.
