This Wednesday August 11th, 2021 VOCAL-NY stands alongside The Rochester Homeless Union as they hold a press rally demanding the Cadillac Hotel be turned back over to the people to offer supported housing for the homeless residents of Rochester. Our demand is for the city of Rochester as well as the Monroe County legislature to house ALL homeless people in Rochester by October 15th to prevent homeless people from dying on the street from another dangerous winter in addition to the worsening Covid-19 pandemic ahead of us.
