After a many many years-long campaign led by survivors of solitary and families who have lost loved ones in solitary, the HALT Solitary Confinement Act was finally enacted into law!

We are having multiple celebrations in multiple parts of the state - there was already a celebration in Buffalo on June 12, and there are still celebrations to come in NYC on July 17, and in Albany on July 24.
