Join us Thursday, 2/11 @ 1PM (LOCATION TBA) to demand that Governor Cuomo have the political will to #TaxTheRich to #EndOverdose and end homelessness throughout NYS!

Over 43,000 lives have been lost to COVID-19 in New York. Tragically, it’s not the only humanitarian crisis facing our state. For years, overdose deaths and homelessness have impacted poor, Black and Brown people across New York - now these crises have been compounded by the pandemic.

Despite this and with people across New York struggle to survive, Governor Cuomo is protecting the rich. During the pandemic, New York’s billionaire’s got $77 billion richer. Meanwhile, the Governor’s budget cuts have already resulted in less services for people who use drugs and are homeless. Overdose deaths are spiking, with some counties reporting increases more than double-or-tripling that of 2019. And the first time in New York City’s history over 20,000 single adults are living in homeless shelters.

JOIN US AS WE HOLD A PHYSICALLY-DISTANCED ACTION IN-PERSON WHILE FOLLOWING PUBLIC HEALTH PROTOCOLS IN ORDER TO KEEP OURSELVES AND OUR COMMUNITIES SAFE WHILE WE DEMAND ACTION ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNOR!
