For 5 years VOCAL-NY Leader D'Juan Collins has been fighting a case fabricated against him by the 34th Precinct and former Manhattan DA Cy Vance, Jr.
The new Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg is now seeking misdemeanor criminal contempt charges against our brother D'Juan. He allegedly violated an order of protection back in 2018.
Misdemeanor offenses have a two-year statute of limitations period. They had till December of 2020 to prosecute him.
This ordeal stinks of malicious prosecution, harassment, and vindictiveness.
With respect and love, D'Juan is asking for folks to be physically present. Let's make sure this system knows that we got our eyes on how they treat our people.
Let's make sure our brother is NOT ALONE.
