Join us on-line for a day of advocacy to pass the Fair & Timely and Elder Parole bills to reform parole in New York State.
Schedule: The day will start at 9:30AM sharp with a morning gathering. We'll meet with legislators throughout the day and then close out the day with a fun gathering. We should be completely finished by 3:30pm. While we hope everyone will attend the entire day, it’s totally fine if some people can only join us for part of the day.
Technology: The entire advocacy day will take place via zoom. We'll have one zoom link for our community gatherings and meetings with legislators (the “Main Meeting Room”), and another link for our press conference. In other words, two links total. Please be on the lookout for another email with those links.
Meetings with Legislators: Everyone will be divided up into teams by region and their legislators. We're going to do our best to have everyone meet with their legislator but some people will not be able to. We ask that you please be flexible with your team assignments, which you'll receive via email in the coming days.
