WE ARE FIGHTING FOR THE HEART AND SOUL OF NEW YORK

There are currently more than 88,000 homeless people living in New York State--the highest number ever recorded.  Year after year, the number of homeless people keep rising, and there's no end in sight. New York is in crisis.

The homelessness epidemic is a direct result of the state refusing to make an effort to address the basic needs of poor New Yorkers.  We need to see these 88,000 men, women, and children get stable and supportive housing. But in order to truly get the state back on track, we need to make sure that we can end poverty, protect our healthcare, and invest in the education of our children.  That doesn't happen without taxing Wall Street and the wealthiest New Yorkers.

We are proud to be joining a coalition of New York organizations calling for an end to homelessness and progressive tax policies. Join us in NYC for a rally at Governor Cuomo's office to lay out our platform.
